ISC Parent Ed: Helping Students Dialogue through their Differences

The Interschool Council (ISC) is hosting a Parent Education Session about helping students navigate their differences using dialogue skills. The session will take place on Zoom at 7:00 p.m.on April 27, 2026. Register in advance here to get the Zoom link. The event will feature Dr. David Krueger , Executive Director of the Dialogue Institute at Temple University. LMSD has partnered with the Institute to provide professional development for staff and guide respectful discussions among students, especially related to issues of critical thinking and relationship building across difference in race, religion and culture. Dr. Krueger will present key strategies and approaches for fostering these skills in young people. He will share insights about how to encourage open conversation, navigate differences, and foster empathy and understanding in everyday interactions.
